Cyber Scams Targeting Women
Romance & Matrimonial Scams
Scammers pose as NRIs or high-profile professionals to win trust, then fabricate emergencies to extract money. Never transfer funds to 'online partners'.
Digital Arrest / Sextortion
Blackmail via recorded video calls or fake claims of illegal parcels. The police will NEVER arrest you via a WhatsApp video call.
Work-From-Home Task Frauds
Prepaid 'task' jobs that ask for an initial investment. If they ask for money to give you a job, it is a scam.
